I literally grew up with you from the time I was born and lived on Friendship street until the day I left Iowa City. You showed up at my mom's funeral. That meant so much to me. We did it all Phil, together, from riding bikes, smoking marlboro reds, hunting with our 22's at your uncle's place, ironing our dollar bills. drinking stite and whiskey and so much more. You were a huge part of my life that I will always miss.
I will always be gratefull that you, Curt, Lisa, your mom and Dad were a part of my life. Growing up with you as my neighbor literally 4 houses away was a blessing for me. As a teenager I spent almost every waking hour at your house with Curt. Life is so short and is gone in an instant. I only wish I could have said goodbye and given you one last hug. I know you are in a better place now where there are no more tears, no more pain.
